Hey,
Another week (give or take a weekend) under the ole OSScast belt, and I’ve got what I think is an exciting little episode lined up for everyone. In piecing this frankenstien together (and waiting for the enevitable thunderstorm) I found myself spending more and more time ‘doing’ this production and dinking around with the site.
My thanks BTW to the Two Web Wise Men who have put up with my relative ‘web ignorance’ and helped me through these beginning potholes.
My point being…as I was ‘dinking’ I began to get more and more peaceful…more and more at ease. I find that I REALLY love doing and assembling this site and these podcasts. That got me thinking about the concept of
Doing what you love.
And a friend (Eej) then sent me an essay on fear. I am getting permission to print parts of it for you guys, and I want to do a future episode on the ‘reality’ and ‘fantasy’ concepts of following your bliss. I have a certain Software Developer Turned Baker that I would LOVE to interview for that.
I hope all the ‘off color’ humor in my podcasts is taken in the spirit that it is meant, and if it isn’t, then dont listen.

My opening is a little piece called the ‘Call to Prayer’ that I mucked with a bit.
Please email me at russ@osscast.com or use the Talk to Me link on the main page, or post comments directly to these show notes about the podcast. I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions on what you are hearing and as always, your ideas on where you think this podcast should go next.
Peace,
Russ
This was to be my Opus, my GRAND first step into the great unknown. It was to be perfect beyond description and move everyone to tears and applause. I could SMELL the pulitzer prize nomination coming……
……and I realized that if I didn’t get off my ass and post this Episode, I would NEVER post anything for ‘real’! Heh…
Okay folks, this little ditty runs about 20mins in length, and what you are getting is a conversation between Chuck Goodwin and yours truly. I just threw my laptop up on the couch, turned on record, popped a quarter in Chuck and ‘let em rip’. There was no real format for this one other than Life the Verse and Everything. We definitely went more the way of the Philosophical than the Spiritual here. Hope you like.

www.music.podshow.com The band’s name is Chub Creek Music, and the title of the piece is Courage…I thought it was appropriate, considering the content of our conversation. Here is the link.

Open·Source·Spirituality n. The use of Open Source methodologies in the creation of spiritual belief systems. Followers see themselves as part of a more generalized open source movement, which does not limit itself to software, but applies the same principles in the creation of open source culture.

OSSCastMissionStatement We are the way we experience our God- through one another. We become the trailblazers of our reality and what we find will surprise us by confirming our vastness again and again. Perhaps, in being reminded of this, you will acknowledge in yourself your ability to be the creator and the created of your reality, to choose what you want to happen and then be surprised by the way it unfolds.
